Timothy J. "Tim" Teetzel, age 43, of Millcreek, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026, after battling cancer. Born in Erie on May 8, 1982, he was the son of the late James L. Teetzel and Kathleen (Divine) Fuller.
Tim worked as a manager at McDonald's on Peach St. He loved music and was a drummer. He was an avid bowler, belonged to the Knights of St. George, collected coins, and was a Pittsburgh Steeler's fan. Tim enjoyed video games and had been a wrestling fan since he was young collecting memorabilia, especially belts. He was always a devoted pet owner especially to his cat, Zombie.
He was preceded in death by his father, James L. Teetzel and stepfather, Art Fuller.
Tim is survived by his wife, Ashley (Uplinger) Teetzel; his mother, Kathleen (Divine) Fuller; a brother, Tom Teetzel; sisters, Tammy Teetzel-Dhappart and Ann "Annie" Mazza; and Ashley's dad, Dan Uplinger, wife Jennifer; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th St. at Greengarden Blvd.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Tim's name in care of the funeral home, Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th St., Erie, PA 16508.

Ashley my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I have always enjoyed seeing you and Tim. He was a great guy. I will truly miss him.

Tim was a wonderful friend and an incredible mentor during my time in the Central Marching Band. I have many fond memories of bowling with him in high school, and I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family during this difficult time.
