Richard B. Come

Richard B. Come, age 90 of Erie, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, at St. Vincent Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, following a brief illness. He was born in Titusville, PA, on May 16, 1935, a son of the late David and Helen (Hamilton) Come. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ethel (Armagost) Come, one daughter, Jean Vanorsdale and his siblings, Fred, Frank, Donald, Robert, Maxine and Pauline.

Richard was a ham radio enthusiast with the call sign of W3WVG. He also enjoyed model airplanes and was a member of the blind bowling league.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nancy (Braendel) Come; children, David (Shari) Come, Becky (Billy) Kuczynski, Roberta (Thomas) Stancliff and Michelle (Paul III) DeDionisio and numerous, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call on Friday February 27, 2026, at the Brugger Funeral Home & Crematory, 1595 West 38th St. from 3:00 to 7:00 PM and are invited to services there on Saturday morning at 10:00 AM.
