About
Dan Kaday Obituary
Dan was a U.S Navy veteran. He was employed as an iron worker by Local 348 for many years prior to his retirement and was regarded as an exceptional welder. Dan was a hard worker and considered it a blessing to do so. Dan enjoyed boating and fishing with his children and piloting airplanes and helicopters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mary Kaday and two brothers, Jack and Bob Kaday.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carol J Kaday; five children: Todd Kaday, Sean Kaday, Mark Kaday (Cathy), Kim Vietmeier (Bill) and Michelle Hinman (Scott); nine grandchildren: Jenna, Jarod, Jillian, Jeffrey, Nathan, Ryan, Joshua, Zachary and Matthew and his brother Wally Kaday and sister Phyllis Kaday.
Dan was privately laid to rest at Erie County Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Brugger Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1595 West 38th St, Erie.
