Amy Lynn Uzzardo, 44, of
Lakeland, Florida, passed away on December 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted wife and a remarkable mom of six, and to all who knew her, she was an angel on earth-beautiful, loving, and endlessly caring.
Born in
Lakeland, Florida, Amy grew up with a deep love for people and a natural gift for making others feel welcome. She carried that gift throughout her life, greeting everyone with a warm smile and a heart that treated friends, coworkers, and customers like extended family.
Amy was a Christian woman whose faith, even when she struggled or searched, never stopped guiding her heart. She visited different churches over the years, always hoping to find a place that felt alive and welcoming for her children, and often spoke about getting back into church so that more love, peace, and God's presence could flow into her home.
Those who loved Amy believe God must have seen how special she was and called her home, even though it broke the hearts of those left behind. To her family, it feels as though God took one of His sweetest angels from their home because He needed her loving spirit in His presence too.
She found her calling in the hospitality industry, where serving others was not just a job but a joy. For nearly 18 years, she worked side by side with her husband, in-laws, and older children at their family-owned business, Decisions Grill and Bar, pouring her heart into every shift and every person who walked through the door.
At Decisions, Amy helped create more than a restaurant; she helped build a community. Regulars became friends, friends became family, and Amy was at the center of it all-listening, laughing, remembering names and stories, and making sure everyone felt seen and cared for.
As a wife, Amy was her husband's closest companion and steadfast partner, sharing long days at the family business and long nights raising their children with love and teamwork. As a mother in a blended family, she juggled everything for all of the kids, loving each one wholly and fiercely, never drawing a line between "hers" and "his," only "ours."
Though Amy did not get as much time as she hoped with her grandchild, her heart was always turned toward the future. She often talked about making changes so that her grandchild could become a bigger part of their lives, and her family finds comfort knowing that the love she was ready to give will still surround that child.
