Brian Leroy Isaacsen, 61, of
Lakeland, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 26, 2026, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, surrounded by loved ones after a long and courageous battle with bladder cancer and respiratory failure.
Born on November 23, 1964, in
Taunton, Massachusetts, Brian was the beloved son of William Isaacsen and the late Sandra Crossman. He dedicated 40 years of his career to the waste industry, where his hard work and reliability were greatly valued. Brian lived in Massachusetts, Louisiana, and finally settled in Florida, embracing each chapter of life with enthusiasm.
An avid outdoorsman and sports enthusiast, Brian found joy in fishing, playing softball, throwing darts, and hitting the golf course. He was a passionate fan of the New England Patriots, Boston Bruins, and Boston Red Sox, often sharing his love for the teams with family and friends. Above all, he cherished time with his family, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and warmth.
Brian was known for his goofy sense of humor, classic dad jokes, and unwavering willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need. His one-of-a-kind personality touched everyone he met, earning him deep affection and admiration from all who knew him.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Deborah Isaacsen of Lakeland; his children, Amanda Webster and her husband John of Lakeland, Jessica Carlson and her husband John of Opelousas, Louisiana, and Alyson Isaacsen and her wife Ashley of Lakeland; his cherished grandchildren, Guinevere, Ezra, and Alfred Carlson; his father, William Isaacsen and his wife Mary of Beverly Hills, Florida; and his siblings, Christine Drew and her husband Frank of Massachusetts, David Isaacsen and his wife Kimberly of Vermont, Becky Isaacsen of Florida, and Paula Nadeau and her husband Patrick of Florida.
Brian was predeceased by his daughter, Kristin Lynn Isaacsen; his mother, Sandra Scanlon; his brother, Andrew Isaacsen; and his grandparents, Stella and Leroy Crossman, and Martha and Arnold Isaacsen.
A celebration of Brian's life will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Shepherd's Community United Methodist Church, 2165 Shepherd Road,
Lakeland, FL 33811.
Brian will be remembered for his infectious spirit, generous heart, and the love he shared so freely. His family finds comfort in knowing the impact he made on so many lives will live on forever.
