Amylee "Bea" Hellwig departed this life peacefully on October 31st, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on May 30th, 1934, in Palmer, Missouri, Bea's journey through life was marked by her unwavering love for animals and her passion for adventure.
Bea was a devoted animal lover who especially cherished her cats and her dog, Jasper. Her home was not only filled with warmth but also the joyful presence of her furry companions. Bea engaged in various hobbies that enriched her life; she found great joy in reading, collecting unique treasures, and going to thrift stores. Additionally, her love for travel took her around the globe, allowing her to create lasting memories and experiences.
She is survived by her sister, Ann Buckley of Potosi, Missouri, and her brother, Donald "Gene" Delashmit and wife Patsy of Bellview, Missouri.
Bea was preceded in death by her father, William Guy Delashmit; her mother, Lola Agnes Delashmit; her husband, Joseph Hellwig; and her siblings: sister Marian Irene Alexander, sister Dollie Delashmit, and brother William Wade Delashmit.
As we remember Bea, we celebrate a life well lived—a life filled with love, joy, and a passion for the simple pleasures that brought her happiness.
