In Loving Memory of Ana Evelyn Loyola de Blandon

With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Ana Evelyn Loyola de Blandon, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and faithful servant of Christ, who departed this world peacefully in Jacksonville, Florida on September 10, 2025.

Born on May 2, 1942, in San Salvador, El Salvador, Ana was the fourth child of Eduardo Honorio Loyola and Maria Ragazzone de Loyola. She was a proud graduate of Colegio La Asunción in San Salvador (Class of 1959) and began her studies in law at the University of El Salvador before life's journey took her in new directions. Ana married the love of her life in 1964 and was blessed with five cherished children: Santiago Blandon, Eduardo Blandon, Raquel Richardson, Evelyn Whitley, and Evangelina Blandon Kelly. She later became the proud grandmother of nine beloved grandchildren.

In 1979, Ana courageously moved to Coral Springs, Florida, where she planted roots, pursued new opportunities, and joyfully became a U.S. citizen in 1997. Ever determined and resilient, she earned her Office Administration Certificate from Broward State College in 1989 and went on to work at Lynn Insurance Group, where she served with diligence and grace in the Records Department until her retirement in 2011 at the age of 69.

But Ana's greatest transformation came in 1986 when she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. A devoted member of Riverside Christian Fellowship in Coral Springs, she lived her faith fully-becoming a true prayer warrior and spiritual matriarch to her family and community. With her ever-present Bible and trusted prayer list, Ana was a source of strength, guidance, and unconditional love to all who knew her.

Her life was a radiant testimony of resilience, faith, and joy. A phoenix rising from the ashes, Ana taught those around her the beauty of redemption and the power of perseverance. She danced through life with grace and laughter, bringing warmth and wisdom into every room she entered. She loved music, art shows, long beach walks, and moments spent with friends and family-whether in quiet prayer or joyful celebration.

Ana's legacy is one of compassion, strength, independence, and unwavering faith. Her children and grandchildren will forever carry her teachings in their hearts-lessons of forgiveness, courage, humility, and devotion to Christ.

She often quoted Psalm 91:

"Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'"

We will miss her laughter, her loving embrace, her homemade meals, her words of wisdom, and those unforgettable living room salsa dances. In her own words:

"Don't cry for me, rejoice and celebrate-for I will be dancing in heaven, living in a mansion, and walking with God for the rest of my days."

May her legacy of love and faith continue to inspire us all.

Rest in eternal peace, Mom. You are forever in our hearts.
