Ana Machado a Beloved Wife, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother and Friend was called home on August 12th, 2025. She was born on March 29, 1965, in Lubbock to the late Ramiro and Helen Machado. Later in life she went on to marry Ruben Vesquez in Lubbock cherishing numerous years of a loving marriage.
Throughout her life, Ana was known for her passions and talents. She had a green thumb that over the years turned her kitchen into a beautiful Oasis.
Ana had a passion for helping any and everyone she came in contact with. Nobody ever stayed a stranger for long. To all who knew her, she was the light in so many lives. She could also be a strong-willed tornado at times. One of her greatest passions was to travel the world, and see as many beautiful places her feet would carry her! Ana is now continuing on with her passion to explore her endless adventure. We would like to celebrate her on this new journey, to her new life.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Ana may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ramiro and Helen Machado; and her brother Ramiro Machado Jr.
She is survived by her husband Ruben Vesquez of Battle Creek, MI; her children, Michelle Ortega of Lubbock, Amanda Covarrubias of Lubbock, Andrea Galindo of Battle Creek, MI and Israel Romo of Battle Creek, MI; her sister Sandra Delgado of Lubbock. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
