Burial will follow at Nevels Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home & Chapel.
Anthony was born on June 7, 1997, in the small town of Tahoka, to Santiago Martinez Jr. and Erica Flores. He left this world far too soon on Sunday, August 24, 2025. His departure leaves a void that will never be filled.
Anthony was more than just a son, brother, and friend; he was a beacon of joy and laughter to all who crossed his path. In his role as a Spray Foamer and Welder Helper, he applied the same diligence and passion he brought to his hobbies and interests. He was deeply dedicated to his craft, always eager to learn and grow, but it was his love for life and family that truly defined him.
His heart was tethered to his family, particularly his son and brothers, with whom he cherished countless moments. Whether they were playing pool, riding horses under the vast Texas sky, or cooking together in the kitchen, Anthony made memories that will forever resonate in the hearts of those he loved. Each deer hunting trip, each fishing expedition, was filled with laughter and camaraderie, a testament to the bonds he cherished deeply. His passion for golfing brought friends together, creating lasting friendships and joyful afternoons, often underscored by friendly competition.
Tragically, Anthony's life was cut short, and the world feels a little dimmer without his warm smile and infectious laughter. Those who knew him will forever remember his caring spirit, his willingness to lend a helping hand, and his unwavering loyalty to those he loved. He will be missed more than words can express, his spirit living on in the memories, stories, and lives of those fortunate enough to have shared in his journey.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Erasmo Charles Flores and Selvia Garcia.
He is survived by his father Santiago “Jimmy” Martinez Jr. of Tahoka; his mother Erica Flores of Mathis, TX; four brothers Santiago Martinez III of Lubbock, Alfredo Martinez of Lubbock, Christian Luna of Lubbock and Xavier Luna of Mathis, TX; his son Anthony Ezieko Martinez of Tahoka; his sons mother Trinity Hamilton of Tahoka: his paternal grandparents Dan and Peggy Martinez of Tahoka; also, a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
