Funeral services for Ana Luz Ugalde Basurto age, 76, of Greenville, TX will be held at on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 1:30 P.M at St. John Catholic Church in Emory, TX with Father Michael Ledesma officiating. A Rosary will be held from 6 to 8 PM on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Jones-Walker and Son Funeral Home.
Mrs. Basurto passed away early Wednesday morning at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville.
She was born on December 27, 1948, in San Juan Del Rio, Queretaro, Mexico the daughter of Frencisco Ugalde and Catalina Basurto. She married Jaime Barcena Hernandez, and he preceded her in death on April 6, 2006.
Ana Luz was a devoted wife and mother. A homemaker and of the Catholic Faith.
She is survived by her two children; Jose Guadalupe Barcena and wife Luz Maria of Greenville, and Abigail Barcena and husband Efren Anastacio of Greenville; three grandsons, Jordan Guadalupe, Ethan Gael and Jionni Barcena all of Greenville. Three brothers Noradino Ugalde Basurto, Jose Guadalupe Ugalde Basurto and Artemio Ugalde Basurto all of El Sitio, QRO and one sister Alma Rosa Ugalde Basurto of San Juan Del Rio, QRO. Various nieces and nephews of the Ugalde family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and 3 sisters.

Servicios fúnebres para Ana Luz Ugalde Basurto, de 76 años, de Greenville, TX, se llevarán a cabo el sábado 30 de agosto de 2025 en St. John Catholic Church en Emory, TX , con el Padre Michael Ledesma oficiando. Se llevará a cabo un Rosario de 6 a 8 PM el viernes 29 de agosto de 2025 en la funeraria Jones-Walker and Son. La Sra. Basurto falleció temprano el miércoles por la mañana en el Centro Médico Regional de Hunt en Greenville.
