Anastazia Pasternak Obituary

Anastazia immigrated to the United States in 1950. She worked as an Inspector for Montco, retiring in 1983.
On September 9, 1950 she was united in marriage to Iwan "John" Pasternak. That union was blessed with 26 years of marriage until his untimely passing on December 19, 1976. She was also predeceased by her brother, Wasyl Paraszczuk; a cousin, Michael Paraszczuk; and her nieces, Olga Czelusniak and Sophie Considine
Survivors include her great nieces, great nephews and extended family members.
A Parastas Service will take place on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 11a.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 24 Pulaski Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
A calling hour will precede services on Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 9:30a.m. until 10:30a.m. at the Rose & Hughes Funeral Home, 200 Church Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010. Please visit the online memorial at www.roseandhughesfh.com
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to her beloved church.
The family would like to thank the 3rd floor staff at Wilkinson for their wonderful care and compassion given to Anastazia in her final years.
