Anatolii Kozub
February 22, 1983 – March 2, 2025
RALEIGH – Anatolii Kozub, 42, passed away March 2, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born February 22, 1983, in Ukraine, to Yuriy Kozub and Anna Aleksyk Kozub.
Anatolii was a devoted husband to his wife, Nataliia, and a loving father to his three children. He was a faithful Christian who trusted his life to the Lord. Anatolii found peace and purpose in reading the Bible, praying, and sharing the gospel with others. He was deeply committed to his faith and loved God with all his heart. Anatolii's compassion for others and his kind spirit were evident to all who knew him. Even as he battled cancer for the past five years, he remained positive, never complained, and faced each day with a strong will.
In addition to his parents, Anatolii is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Nataliia Symkanych Kozub; son, William Kozub; daughters, Ivetta Kozub and Alisa Kozub; and brothers, Yuriy Kozub, Vasyl Kozub, Victor Kozub, and Alec Kozub and their families.
Anatolii will also be greatly missed by his parents-in-law, Oleksander and Lidiia Symkanych, and siblings-in-law, Vitaliy and Diana Migovich, and Oleksandr and Victoria Symkanych.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, 211 W. Third Street, Wendell, NC 27591, with a funeral service starting at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Hollywood Cemetery, 10827 S Nash St, Middlesex, NC 27557.
