Anatoliy Melnik Obituary
Anatoly Melnik was born on February 29, 1956, in Moldova, in the village of Novye Aneny, to Andrei and Anisiya Melnik. He was the third child in the family.
1960 – His parents came to the Lord when he was 4 years old.
1972 – He graduated from high school and entered a vocational school. After graduating, he worked at a factory in the city of Chisinau.
1974 – He joined the army and served for two years. After the army, he returned to his father's home and worked as a welder at an agricultural machinery company.
1979 – Married Svetlana Petlevaya.
1980 – Their only child, a son named Pavel, was born.
1991 – Anatoly and his family immigrated to America. From the first days in America, he accepted the Lord as his Savior and was baptized in water in the city of Spokane.
1992–2009 – Worked as a welder at Alloy Trailer.
2012 – Up to the present, he worked in caregiving.
2018 – His long-awaited first granddaughter, Loren, was born.
2020 – His second granddaughter, Astrid, was born.
2024 – To complete his happiness, his grandson Henrik was born.
July 29, 2025 – Diagnosed with a heart attack.
August 5, 2025 – Anatoly passed away, believing in our Almighty God.
Anatoliy Melnik was a man whose life radiated love, laughter, and generosity. Known for his kind heart and unforgettable sense of humor, he brought joy to everyone around him. He cherished his wife, son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren deeply, and found true happiness in the simple pleasures-gardening, caring for his animals, and always lending a helping hand. Above all, Anatoliy loved the Lord and was a man of prayer, often lifting others up in intercession. His legacy of faith, compassion, and quiet strength will live on in the lives he touched.
