Ancil Eugene Ruppe

Ancil Eugene Ruppe, 89, of Delphi, IN. Passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. He was born January 25, 1936, in Lafayette, IN to the late Rudolph Ruppe and Dorothy (Cole) Ruppe Livengood.
He worked at Lyman Implement Company and then later at Sears Roebuck in West Lafayette for 30 years before retiring.
Ancil graduated from Shadeland High School and served in the National Guard.
His marriage was to Clarabelle Lyman on December 8, 1962, and she survives.
He loved spending time with his family, traveling and enjoyed cars, airplanes and history.
He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Karen (Wayne) Daniels, Mary (Gary) Miller-Stovall, Cindi Ruppe and a son Mike Ruppe. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, Christina (Steve) Schwenk, Nicole Daniels, Clarissa (David) Beagle, Robert (Kallie) Miller and James (Kelsey) Miller, as well as 7 great grandchildren, Brandon Schwenk, Rebekah (Baylor) Joseph, Karson, Kash and Isla Miller, Sierra Rios and Layla Beagle.
Ancil had many half-brothers including Ora Edward Livengood and Paul Ruppe (deceased).
Those wishing, may contribute in Ancil's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Soller-Baker Funeral Home, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, IN 47909 with Pastor Christina Schwenk officiating. Entombment will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette.
