DATELINE: GROVER, NORTH CAROLINA
Anderson "Andy" Bailey Haskins Sr.
Anderson Bailey Haskins, 75, of Grover, NC, passed away on January 30, 2025 at Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby, NC. Andy was born March 5, 1949 in Cleveland County, NC, son of the late Howard Walter and Hattie Stewart Haskins and was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Howard Haskins Jr., David Haskins and Jack Stewart. Andy served his country faithfully in the US Air Force in the Vietnam War. Andy spent his life in service to others as a Paramedic with Grover Rescue Squad. He served as a Medic with Cleveland County EMS until his retirement. Andy also served as an instructor in the Paramedic courses at Cleveland Community College for many years. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed going to the races. Andy loved visiting the North Carolina mountains where he enjoyed trout fishing. He loved cooking for his family and was a talented photographer. Andy cherished moments in nature, capturing the beauty of the wilderness with his camera. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Andy's guidance, love of others, and love for his family and friends will be remembered for a lifetime by all who knew him

Children: Lane Ray, Mark Steven Ray, Kimberly Smith, Stacey Bare,
and Andy Haskins Jr.
Brother: John Haskins
13 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren
