Andi Michele Henderson, 52 of Wilmington, died Sunday, December 17, 2023, at New Hanover Medical Center in Wilmington.
She was born in Arlington Heights, Illinois on August 30, 1971, to Ron Henderson & Jamie Teasley Bailey.
Andi was a very unique person, & never met a stranger. She was adventurous, funny, & kindhearted. She loved driving, music, snowboarding, art, animals, going to the beach & old horror movies. Andi was a breast cancer survivor.
Those left to cherish her memory include a daughter, Eris Swager, her two sons, Connor Beeley, Ian Richards, her father, Ron Henderson, her mother & stepfather, Jamie & Terry Bailey, her sister, Leslie Henderson-Martin (Honda), her boyfriend, Bryan Wendzel. Aunt & Uncle Carolyn & Gordan Harris, Niece, Ashton Martin, nephew, Isaiah Martin, Brain Harris & Kristy Manners her first cousins. Her fur babies, Kylo, Wicket & Red Dog. A close community of friends in Colorado.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 22, 2023, at 2:00 pm in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Tevepaugh officiating. The family will visit with friends from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The Animal Shelter of Iredell County, 430 Bristol Dr., Statesville, NC 28677.
