ANDRE' ARTHALIA WILLIAMS HOLMES

Andre’ Arthalia Williams-Holmes entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at the age of 63. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA. Andre’ obtained her commercial driver’s license at 62, and was employed as a First Student as a bus driver at Walter L Cohen High School. She was also employed as a caregiver with Visiting Angels. Andre’ was a faithful member of New Home Ministries, where she served as a deaconess. Beloved mother of Christopher Williams, Sr., Natasha N. Williams, and Katrina T. Williams. Grandmother of Christopher Williams, Jr., Brycen D. McKiney, and Sydnie T. Jones. Daughter of the late Alfred E. Williams, Sr. and Stella Mae Dantzler Williams. Sister of Louise Johnson, Debra Parker, Amanda Williams, and the late Oralee Dantzler, Jimmie Dewayne Williams, Thurman Gernard Williams, Henry Williams, Brenda Jarriet, and Alfred E. “Huckabuck” Williams. Aunt of the late William “Mack” McClendon, Alfred “Howie” Johnson, and Kashana “Patty Cake” Jarriett, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of New Home Ministries, and all neighboring churches are invited to the Celebration of Life Service at New Home Ministries 1616 Robert C.
