Andrea Marie Cretin

Andrea Marie Cretin, age 50, passed away surrounded by her loving family at her home in Bloomington, IN, on Sunday, February 23, 2025. She was born in St. Louis Missouri to Donald and Catherine Bickell on December 30, 1974. Andrea graduated from Grover Cleveland High School in St. Louis and enlisted in the Navy shortly after. During her service in the Navy, Andrea became an aircraft mechanic and traveled to many places including New Zealand, Antarctica, Point Mugu, and Oak Harbor. She later moved to Bloomington, IN, where she raised her family.
Andrea is survived by her children, Harley Skye Cretin and Ethan Tyde Cretin; her parents, Donald and Catherine Bickell; her brother, Aaron Michael Bickell; in-laws, Frank James Lawler and Joyce Kaye Lawler; a large family in St. Louis; a small family in Iowa; many dear friends in Bloomington; and her pet, Storm. She was preceded in death by her brother, Anthony Mark Bickell, and her pets Manning and Mocha.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Allen Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Society for Colon Cancer.
