Andrea L. Bastin (formerly Myers), 79 of Pittsboro, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 20, 2024, at her home. The following is an obituary written by her loving family.
Andrea Louise Bastin, well-loved member of Hendricks County, died November 20, 2024, in her home in Pittsboro, Indiana, after a battle with esophageal cancer.
She was affectionately known as “Andi” by her family & her many, many friends.
Born September 22, 1945, to Francis Eugene Gray & Norma Frances Gray, who preceded her in death along with a stepfather, Darrell Croy, all of Brownsburg, as well as a grandson, Brian Myers, of Pittsboro, Indiana.
She leaves behind her husband, Bryan Bastin of Pittsboro; two children, Bill Myers of Avon and Jennifer Williams of Pittsboro; along with two siblings, Larry E. Gray, Sr. of Okeechobee, Florida and Debbie Patton of Tavares, Florida. Andi is also survived by four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, plus numerous nieces and nephews. She was a past member of Delta Sigma Sorority.
Andi was a graduate of Brownsburg High in 1963. She was a hairdresser for nearly 50 years in Brownsburg. She was an avid horse woman & trainer and dedicated animal lover.
Services will be held at Eric M.D. Bell Funeral Home in Pittsboro, Indiana on November 26, 2024, at 1 pm, with visitation from 11 am to 1 pm. Reverend Ben Thomas will be officiating. Andi will be laid to rest in St. Malachy West Cemetery in Pittsboro following the funeral service.
