Andrea C. Tok, age 80 of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Majestic Pines Senior Living in Grand Rapids, MN.

Andrea "Andy" was born February 23, 1943, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota to Ivan and June (Whittemore) Peterson. Andrea graduated with the Class of 1961 from Grand Rapids High School. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Colorado Women's College in Denver, Colorado.

On July 31, 1965, Andrea was united in marriage to Keith Andrew Tok in Grand Rapids. She worked for a brief time for 3M Company in St. Paul, before she and Keith returned home to Grand Rapids. Andrea and Keith owned and operated Tok Furniture, then later purchased Ace Hardware. In addition to helping Keith at Ace Hardware, Andrea spent many years with the Grand Rapids Herald Review where she held various positions. From 2003 to 2017 Andrea faithfully volunteered her time (6862 hours) as Assistant Manager of the gift shop at Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital. She enjoyed participating in the Pokegama Women's Golf League and was active as a "PEO Sister". Andrea loved time at the beach with family and friends, reading to her grandchildren in the hammock and tending to her beautiful flowers at her home on Pokegama Lake.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ivan and June Peterson; brother Lee W. Peterson, and sister Karen Parkes. Andrea is survived by her husband of 58 years, Keith; daughter Sarah W. Tok of Grand Rapids, MN; son Stephen A. Tok of Woodbury, MN; grandchildren Christian, Nicholas, Ryan, and Abby; great grandson Damon.
