Andree Rocheleau

Rocheleau, Andree - Age 91, died July 2, 2024. Services will be held 1 PM Friday August 2, 2024 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. 

Andree was born February 15, 1933 in Villeurbanne, France the daughter Alexandre Arnoux and Josephine Carillon. All her life Andree was an independent soul who loved delving into many kinds of artistic endeavors , she was a wonderful China painter, a very accomplished pastellist , she did glass fusion and metal work to name a few ! Andree came to the US in the early sixties from France and eventually bought a dog grooming school, where she would meet Howard Rocheleau and they married in 1983. Andree sold the school and her and Howard moved to Linden where they had a dog grooming business for many years . Her life was full of dogs , standard poodles and Yorkies mostly , she loved their company. She was very fond of Christian , her nephew , who for a long period of time visited her every single year from France. Andree travelled a great deal , mostly to France, Paris forever being a place that held her heart , but she also went to India to visit an orphanage not far from the Himalayas , quite an experience . Andree was a strong , independent woman , hard working and a good friend . She will be missed!!
