Andres Colon

Andres Colón was born on December 12, 1928, in Arecibo,

Puerto Rico, to the late Luisa Figueroa and Felix Colón. He

was the cherished brother of Jacinta and the late Pablo

Colón.

In 1959, Andres married his first wife, Ana, and together

they had four children: Luis, Denise, Edwin, and Andres Jr.

Later in life, he found his lifelong partner and the love of his

heart, Olga. With her, he was blessed with three more

children: Olguita, Teddy, and Iris.

Family was the center of Andres's world. He took immense

pride in his 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren;

each of whom brought him joy and fulfillment.

Andres will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving

father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, as well as a

caring uncle and loyal friend. He was admired for his acts of

service, his unwavering determination, and his strong work

ethic. Yet, above all, what defined him most was his

remarkable sense of humor, a gift he passed on to his

children and a legacy that will continue to bring smiles for

generations to come.
