It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carlos Andrés Morales, who left us far too soon on September 2, 2025.

Andrés was born on April 18th, 2001, in Monterrey, Nuevo León, México. He was a beloved son, big-hearted brother, and loyal friend, known for his liveliness and contagious sense of humor. He grew up in Arlington, TX, and graduated from James Martin High School in the Class of ‘19. For the last year of his life, he found his calling working as a lineman at Austin Energy— a career that he was deeply proud of and eager to excel in.

His absence leave an immeasurable space in our lives, but his magnetic energy and love will forever live in our hearts. As someone who was not a fan of silence, he enjoyed filling his days with vivid stories, eclectic music, comedy shows, podcasts, movies and the chorus of laughter he inspired. He was the person who could turn an endless stream of jokes, a simple call into an hour of belly laughs, and a difficult day into something bearable. He a constant source of laughter and the glue that held our family together.

To know Andrés was to know his true love of food. He enjoyed not just eating it, but sharing it, talking about it, and turning every meal into an opportunity to connect, laugh, and create memories with the people he loved most. Andrés’s joy for life was impossible to miss. He lived with intention, chasing dreams with humor, heart, and an eagerness for every experience that came his way.

Andrés was someone people gravitated toward. He had a way of making friends with anyone, anywhere and making those friendships last. He did not hold grudges and rarely turned down an opportunity to have a good time with his buddies. His loyalty was unmatched, and his ability to make others feel safe with his infectious personality made him so extraordinary. He loved hard and deeply and that love was returned tenfold.

Andrés leaves behind mother Verónica, siblings Diego Morales, Daniela Morales, and sister-in-law Kandyl Morales; step-sibling, Teague Warren; as well as countless friends who he cherished like family. Though he is no longer with us in body, he will forever be present in every family gathering, every shared memory, every laugh, and every moment of joy in the simple things — just as he taught us.

We invite all who knew and loved Andrés to join us for his funeral service on Friday, September 12, at Wade Funeral Home, 4140 W Pioneer Pkwy, Arlington, TX 76013. Visitation and remembrance will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., with a funeral ceremony to follow from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.
