Good evening, today we remember the life of a remarkable individual who touched the hearts of many. Andres Francisco Read Roa, affectionately known as Roa, has sadly passed away on the 1st of October, 2025, in New York. Born on the 4th of February, 1965, in Elias Pina, Dominican Republic, Roa's journey through life was one marked by dedication, warmth, and wisdom.Roa's life was a testament to the enduring power of love and family. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Ana Read, and their children, Senia, Andre Jr., Eric, Victoria, and Jon Read. Roa's legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, Ryan Ferreira, John Lucas Read, Esme Leonardo, and Liana Read. Each family member was a shining star in his universe, and he took immense pride in their accomplishments and happiness.A hard worker by nature, Roa's commitment to his family was paralleled by his dedication to his career. His work ethic and involvement in his community were well-known, and he was respected by colleagues and friends alike. Roa's role as a proud dad and family man was evident to all who knew him, and his influence will be felt for generations to come.Roa was a devout Christian, living his life with faith as his compass. His spiritual beliefs guided him through life's challenges and joys, and he was an example of Christian love and charity to all who had the pleasure of crossing his path.In addition to his family and work, Roa had a passion for music, which brought joy and rhythm to his life. He was an ardent fan of the New York Mets, his enthusiasm never wavering, win or lose. His love for food reflected his zest for life and the pleasure he took in simple, everyday joys. Those who knew Roa would describe him as loving, generous, and intelligent. His loving nature was the fabric that held his family together, his generosity extended beyond his kin to touch the lives of friends and strangers, and his intelligence shone through in his thoughtful conversations and insightful advice. As we say farewell to Andres Francisco Read Roa, we celebrate a life well-lived, rich in experiences, and full of love. He will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will continue to inspire those who had the honor of knowing him. Roa's memory will live on, not just in the hearts of his family, but in the many lives he touched. Rest in peace, Roa, and thank you for the beautiful memories and the legacy of kindness you have left behind. His final place of rest will be in Cementerio Municipal San Jose de las Matas, Dominican Republic.
