Obituary of Andres Traverso
Andres Traverso, 84, of Dover, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Morristown Medical Center. He was born on December 27, 1939, to Ipolito and Margarita Traverso in Aguada, Puerto Rico.
Andres was a Factory Worker in addition to owning a tire business. When he wasn't working, he could be found tinkering in his garage for hours. He was very passionate about building things and was always working on new projects.
He is survived by his children; Mavelia Turnbull (husband Joseph) of Mt. Olive, Andre Traverso (wife Susie) of Dover, Myrna Vega (husband Alberto) of Wharton, Lisette Suarez (husband Orlando) of Dover, and Elvin Traverso (wife Alison) of Dover. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Joey, Corine, Kevin, Eric, Orlando, Devon, AJ, Johnny, and Giselle, and his great-grandchildren; Collins, Kendall, Hailey, Hayden, Arlo, Kayden, and Kaylee. Also surviving are five of his siblings, Pablo, Peter, Juan, Mercedes, and Cecilia.
Andres was predeceased by his loving parents, Ipolito and Margarita Traverso, and his siblings Mary, Amparo, and Moises.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 4:00 – 8:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). A Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Funeral Home on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 10:00AM, followed by Interment at Locust Hill Cemetery in Dover, New Jersey.
