Andrew C. Aguirre affectionately known as "DJ Dru", 39, passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2025. He was born December 13, 1985 in Denver, Colorado to proud mother, Denise Louise Aguirre. He is preceded in death by his dad, Benecio Herrera; his brother, Nicholas Aguirre, and his grandmother, Stella Carrasco.
Andrew graduated from East High School in Denver, Colorado. He was a good and loving son and was a wonderful Big Brother to Lauren. He was the most loveable person. Andrew liked bowling and going out to eat, he was referred to as "The Midnight Snacker". He enjoyed visiting the Royal Gorge and the mountains, but Las Vegas was his favorite. He liked all of the Colorado sports teams, especially The Avalanche and Denver Broncos. Andrew was an excellent DJ, he had a very special bond with his DJ squad, who were his extended family. He was a self-entertainer and Facebook comedian, the life of the party, he could turn a frown into a smile. Andrew was an excellent Dad and most of all he loved his babies and spending quality time with each of them.
Andrew is survived by his mother, Denise L. Aguirre; sister, Lauren Aguirre: his children, Anicia Aguirre, Trinity Berk, Xavier Martinez, Aubrianna Aguirre, Amaya Aguirre, Andrew Aguirre and Andi Aguirre; granddaughter, Sabrina Yeboah; mothers of his children, Klylia Thomas, Amanda Edwards and Janae Martinez; nephew, Markus Rodriguez, Nina Liberty Bell Herrera; several aunts, Angelina and Darlene Archuleta to include special aunt, Connie Carrasco; very dear friends, Chad Sanford, Roy Rumble and Leon Griego; uncles and cousins; and the DJ squad who love and will miss DJ Dru.
Celebration of Life, 10 am, Mon., April 28, 2025 at Praise Assembly of God.
