Andrew "Andy" Michael Bird, 46, passed away on March 2, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio, surrounded by loved ones.
Born on February 15, 1979, Andy built a successful career as the head of maintenance across multiple companies. Known for his remarkable ability to fix anything, he was not only a skilled professional but also an exceptional leader who earned the respect and admiration of those he worked with.
Beyond his career, Andy found joy in life's simple pleasures. He cherished watching football with his son while seeking out the spiciest chicken wings he could find. A true adventurer at heart, he loved traveling the world and embracing the great outdoors. He also treasured time spent with his mother and his dog, Marley, creating lasting memories with those closest to him.
Andy is survived by his beloved son, Dylan Bird; his mother, Cheryl Bird; his sisters, Michelle Beretich (Lary) and Vicky Trout; and his nieces, Lauren Beretich, Katie Beretich, Krista Trout, Emily Trout, and Jenna Trout. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael V. Bird.
Andy's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him. A celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
