Andrew Y. Borgman, 80, of Springfield, IL, passed away December 30, 2022, at Heritage Health in Jacksonville. He was born on September 26, 1942, in Chicago, IL the son of Andrew and Janke "Jenny" DeJong Borman. He married Marguerite Cloo on June 26, 1964, and she survives.
In addition to his wife, Marguerite, he is survived by his daughter: Kathy (Ken) Mansell, of South Jacksonville; and grandchildren: Rachel Mansell, Andrew Clements, Elijah Clements, Daniel Clements, Micah Clements, Naomi Clements, Gabriel Clements.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter: Anne Clements; grandchild: Hannah Mansell; brother: Robert Borgman; and sister: Elaine Leeper.
Andrew spent his career as a manager for multiple retail stores. Upon retirement, he began working at Lindquist and Beckstead Jewelers. He enjoyed watching Fox News, the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles.
Per Andrew's wishes, there will be no formal services. Burial will take place at Diamond Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the First Presbyterian Church of Jacksonville. Condolences may be left online at www.airsman-hires.com. Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville is in charge of arrangements.
