Andrew P. "Andy" Cingle, 80, passed away on Thursday, August 17th, 2023, at his home. Born on July 29th, 1943, at the family home in Clarence, he was the son of the late Stephen and Mary A. (Koleno) Cingle. On February 20th, 1967, in Cumberland, MD, he married Delores A. Kochik. Delores survives at home.
Andy was a 1961 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. He enlisted in the United States Air Force after graduation and received his honorable discharge after 20 plus years of service. Andy worked as a Radar Technician. He earned the rank of Master Sergeant and received the Meritorious Service Medal w/1 device, Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal w/5 devices, National Defense Medal, AF Longevity Service Award Ribbon w/3 devices, and the NCO Professional Military Education Grad Ribbon for his years of service. While in the military, Andy was stationed at Nellis Air Force Base for five years while working at Area 51.
Andy was a member of Queen of Archangels Parish Church in Clarence. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing poker, going to casinos, and betting on football games. He was a jack of all trades, master of none. He could fix anything. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He would follow all their sporting events and was the biggest cheerleader in the stands. Andy was proud of all their accomplishments.

Warefield and Jeremy M. Warefield both of Pleasant Gap, one brother, Edward Cingle of Altoona, and three sisters: Margaret D'Elia of NY, Jane Cresson of NY, and Barbara White of IN.
Along with his parents, Andy was preceded in death by six brothers: Bill, Frank, Ted, Steve, Mike, David and Bob, and two sisters: Agnes Cingle and Mary Kolasa.
Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 22nd 2023, at 11am at the Queen of Archangels Parish Church in Clarence with Father Michael Wolfe officiating. Graveside services with full military honors will be on Friday, August 25th, 2023, at 1pm at St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery in Clarence.
In lieu of flowers, Andy's family is asking for memorial contributions be made to the American Stroke Association, 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231 (www.stroke.org).
