Andrew A. Cooper, 38, of Akron passed away December 5, 2025. A son of the late Jeffrey Cooper. Besides his father he is preceded in death by grandmother Sandra Kay. Andrew served proudly in the United States Army as an 11B with the 1-327 D Company, dedicating himself fully to his mission and to the people beside him. A born leader, steady, dependable, and the kind of man who stepped forward when others stepped back. Respected by all who knew him, Andrew carried a deep sense of loyalty and compassion. He cared fiercely for those around him and was always the first to offer help, comfort, or guidance. To many, he was a rock, someone you could lean on in moments of struggle or uncertainty. Intelligent, thoughtful, and unwaveringly supportive, He was the person everyone called when they needed strength, clarity, or simply someone to listen. His presence made others feel safer, stronger, and never alone. Survived by his wife Rachelle Cooper; daughter Kelsie Williams; sister Julie Grismer; 3 brothers Mat Grismer, Chris Cooper, Joseph Cooper; all of his Army brothers, his second family, who stood beside him in service and in life, and who will forever honor his memory as well as other family members and friends.
