Andrew Hassan Diomande, a beloved son of Miami, Florida, passed away on September 6, 2024, at the age of 38. Born on June 25, 1986, Andrew was blessed with many gifts-an agile mind, remarkable athleticism, and a generous heart. Throughout his life, he excelled both academically and athletically, thriving in gifted programs and honors classes from a young age. Andrew went on to play football for Clemson University and Vanderbilt University. Andrew graduated from Vanderbilt University.
His passion for sports was undeniable, whether cheering for his favorite Teams, or attending Florida State University football camps in the summertime with his cousin Tyler, where they created countless cherished memories. He could often be found watching ESPN, immersing himself in the world of sports he loved so much. Bilingual and fluent in French, Andrew had a genuine love for learning and a desire to share his knowledge with others.
Andrew is survived by his loving parents, Leona and Adama Diomande; his devoted uncle, Andre Wadsworth; his grandmother, Lilyth Wadsworth; and many other cherished family members. He will be especially missed by his long-time special friend, Chan.
Andrew will be remembered for his sharp mind, athletic prowess, sense of humor, and generous spirit. His love for life touched everyone around him, and he leaves behind a legacy of kindness and warmth.
