Andrew (Drew) Krycerick Jr.

Andrew (Drew) Krycerick Jr., 72, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on September 10, 2025, in Lake Forest, California, after a courageous four-year battle with cancer in which he fought with incredible strength and determination. He was born on December 20, 1952, in Yonkers, New York, and graduated from Lakeland High School class of 1970.

Drew is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Kelly Krycerick; his in-laws Carol and Keith Gibson, whom he considered like second parents; his sons Drew M. (Melissa) Krycerick, Matthew (Breanne) Topper, and Joshua (Julie) Krycerick; and his cherished grandchildren Natalie, Drew, Tristan, and Keira Krycerick, Juniper and Felix Topper, with another grandchild, Emily Mae Krycerick, expected soon.

He is also survived by his siblings John Krycerick, Donna (Andy) Holtzmann, and sister-in-law Susan Soth, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Krycerick Sr. and Jean Krycerick, his grandparents, his brothers-in-law Keith Jr., Scott and Mark Gibson, and several aunts, uncles, and family.

Drew dedicated 46 years of his professional life to Unisys Corporation, where he worked under the guidance and friendship of his boss John Davies. His commitment, work ethic, and loyalty left a lasting impression on his colleagues, family, and friends alike.

Outside of work, Drew was a devoted fan of the New York Yankees, Los Angeles Angels, (which he had season tickets for many years) and the New York Giants. Drew also was an avid bowler and was on a league with very special friends for years, up until his illness. His love for sports, his family, his friends, and his humor filled his life and the lives of those around him, even up to his very last day.

The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to Drew’s devoted family and friends who remained by his side throughout his courageous battle with cancer. They also extend sincere thanks to Dr. Edward Wagner, Tali, and their team at Memorial Care Cancer Institute; the staff at Saddleback Hospital especially his nurse, Karen Mooney; and the Memorial Care Hospice Team, with special appreciation to Grace and Alyssa, for their exceptional compassion and care.

A private memorial for family and close friends will be held during the week of Thanksgiving 2025, where Drew's life and legacy will be celebrated.
