Andrew (Andy) Jacob Ehler, 41, of Rushville, Ohio, passed away on February 22, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.
Andy was born on June 28, 1984, in
McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania to Alice and Michael Ehler. He grew up in Reynoldsburg, Ohio and graduated from Reynoldsburg High School in 2003.
Andy is survived by his wife Teran Ehler, parents Alice and Michael Ehler, siblings Matthew Ehler (Susan), Shelley McLain (Chad), Emily Ehler Straquadine (Tori), Nathan Hoover (Beth), Sarah Ehler, and Erin Ehler (Dean Saunders), in-laws Tracy and Bill Neff, Christine (Carl), and Tony, nephews and nieces, Zack, Tyler, Ethan, Halley, Autumn, Keller, Sidney, Finn, Abbey, Jake, and Noah, extended family members, and friends who loved him deeply.
He was proceeded in death by grandparents, aunts and uncles.
He will be remembered for his charismatic and friendly personality, his kindness, sense of humor, and dedication to his family and friends. Andy enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Penguins, gardening, taking care of Noah, traveling, "chit-chatting", and spending time with family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, March 2nd, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, 650 W Waterloo St.,
Canal Winchester, OH 43110. A service will be held at 12:00 PM at The Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, 5170 Winchester Southern Rd,
Canal Winchester, OH 43110, with burial at Lithopolis Cemetery to follow. A luncheon will follow at The Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish. The family invites all who knew Andy to attend and share memories. To honor Andy's memory, we ask that those in attendance wear black and yellow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Autism Society of Central Ohio (ASCO) in Andy's memory.
