Brandon Russell Kravig, 47, tragically passed away on March 4, 2026. Brandon was born April 10, 1978 in Columbus, Ohio to Russell Kravig and Sandra Denney at Saint Anne's Hospital. He was a graduate of Reynoldsburg High School, receiving his Associates at Columbus State and his Bachelors at Franklin University.

Brandon was a four year veteran of the Air Force, stationed in Minot, North Dakota.

He is survived by his wife, Melanie Kravig; daughter, Grace; son, Cayden; his parents, Russell and Sandra; siblings, Amy Robinson (Chris Wallenberg); brother, Mitchel Lauer (Maureen); many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, family and Melanie's family.

Brandon loved all sports, especially basketball and Ohio State football. He had a big laugh and great sense of humor. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Some of the highlights of his life was his mission trip to Costa Rica, watching Grace in her plays and Cayden in his sports.

He was baptized at 8 years of age in the Scioto River , and had a firm belief in Jesus Christ.

He never stopped loving Melanie, Grace and Cayden, the loves of his life.

A gathering of family and friends is scheduled for Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 11 am to 1 pm at Living Hope Church of Pataskala, 9286 York Road SW, Pataskala, Ohio 43062. Celebration of Life Service begins at 1 pm at church. Burial to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estates, 8029 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg, Ohio where military honors will be observed. All services officated by Pastor Brian Burd.
