Koby Van Kravig, age31, of Cripple Creek, CO died March 7, 2024 unexpectedly to a tragic accident.
Koby was born August 18, 1992 in Pueblo, Colorado to Jeri Lynn Kravig and later adopted by his Grandfather, Gary Kravig and his wife Sherry Kravig. He grew up in the Rye and Colorado Springs area, graduating high school in Colorado Springs. Koby was a proud husband to Hailey Lynn Kravig, the two marrying in Coeur d'Alene, ID on January 22, 2021. They welcomed their daughter Aurora Elaine Kravig on July 22, 2021. They recently moved back to Colorado and looked forward to being closer to family and friends again.
Koby was extremely proud of his family. He enjoyed his time on the mountain snowboarding, camping, fishing, golfing and all the outdoor activities his Colorado home offered. He was hard working and enjoyed the comradery of his work mates. Koby was spontaneous and always up for an adventure. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every moment and would have done anything for his family.
Koby is survived by his wife Hailey Kravig and daughter Aurora Kravig of Cripple Creek, CO, his adopted mother Sherry Kravig of Monument, CO, his birth mother Jeri Kravig of Pueblo, CO, his Grandmother Wilma Baxter of Monument, CO, his siblings, brother Darcy(Barbara) Carter and sister Nicole(Brian) Binkley of Colorado Springs, CO, his Father-in-law and Mother-in-law Rodney and Brenda Jobe of Divide, CO, his Brother-in-law Justin Jobe of Divide, CO, his Sister-in-law Jaylin Jobe of Astoria, OR as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his Grandfather Gary Kravig and his Great Grandfather Gene Baxter.
A Celebration of Life for Koby will be held Saturday March 23rd, 2024 at 11:00am at The Rocky Mountain Chapel, 4240 County Road 1, Cripple Creek,CO 80813. All family and friends are invited to attend.
