Obituary of Andrew Farrow
Andrew Farrow, 46, of Moore, South Carolina passed away suddenly on Friday, November 22, 2024 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Andrew was born in Long Branch and raised in Lakewood. He lived there until he moved to Manchester and then part-time in South Carolina. Drew moved to Moore, SC full-time this May. He owned an auto restoration business and had shops in Neptune and Howell. Drew was raised in his Russian Orthodox Faith and was a life-long parishioner of St. Alexander Nevsky R.O. Cathedral in Howell. As a young man, he worked as a lifeguard at pools and the beach and loved being on boats. Drew bowled at Howell Lanes and had a true passion for cars, which led him to his work. For a short time, he was an aspiring rap artist and performed at the Stone Pony and the Apollo Theater. Drew was a friend of many and was the glue that kept them together.
Andrew was predeceased by his parents, Bruce and Galina Farrow; and his maternal grandparents, Nickolay and Olga Aksenow and paternal grandparents, Hubert and Ann Farrow. He is survived by his sister, Alexandra Farrow; a half-sister, Barbara Farrow; aunts, Natalia Scalley and Nancy Rawles and her husband, Patrick; uncle, Douglas Farrow and his wife, Kim; and many cousins and numerous great friends.
Pannyhida will be held at St. Alexander Nevsky R.O. Cathedral, 200 Alexander Avenue, Howell on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Monday, December 2, 2024 at the Cathedral. Interment will follow in St. Vladimir's R.O. Cemetery, 316 Cassville Road, Jackson.
