Andrew Galloway of Manasquan, NJ passed Ad Astra (12-11-1924 to 7-24-2024). Andrew is survived by his children Drew and MaryFran Galloway of Jackson NJ, Richard and Jodi Galloway of Long Valley NJ and Heather and John Gorman of Morristown NJ as well as seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Andrew was pre-deceased by his wife of 72 years Edith Warner Galloway and sister Annamae Galloway of Verona, NJ. WW II veteran of the Army Air Corps (US Airforce), A-26 and B-26 pilot. Serving our Nation was an honor and privilege, and Andy was an enthusiast of aviation. A 1949 Graduate of Cook College (Rutgers) and Phi Gamma Delta member, Andy worked forty years with local 825 Operating Engineers as a crawler and tower crane operator.
Andrew strongly believed in a sustainable farm to table lifestyle and was a lifelong gardener of fruit and vegetables. A diehard Rutgers Scarlet Knights and Giants football fan he was known for gourmet tailgates which always included an undrainable supply of Jack Daniels.
Memorial donations should be made to the Manasquan First Aid Squad located at 65 Broad Street in Manasquan NJ 08736. The Family deeply appreciates and thanks the volunteers for their responsiveness and professional care provided.
Services are entrusted to Jersey Shore Cremation, 43 Taylor Avenue, Manasquan, NJ.

Today and always, may loving memories bring you peace, comfort, and strength. The passing of a centenarian. How blessed and fortunate was Andrew to have lived as long, experienced the changes throughout our history, serve our country, and still have a sound mind to share and express them. A man after my own heart, diehard Big Blue fan (Go Giants GO!!)
