Andrew Phillip Holland was more than the sparkle in your everyday sunshine or starshine. He brought life and love to everyone he met, he never judged. He did not care of your gender, orientation, race, or whatever journey you were on in life; to him you were his family. He embodied pure love and joy. He always knew just what you needed to make you smile and love yourself. If it was just a smile, laugh, hug or to dance. He will be truly missed by his family/ blood or not and by his partner Michael Martin. He just knew how to brighten up your day and never expected anything from you in return. He just knew how to spread his sparkle. He was just him, unique, weird and his true self. On August 9th, he was taken from this world by pure evil and ill intent. What we learned from Andrew was forgiveness and to share love. This world will not be the same without him, but he will be the star or sun that is shining on us to share love and compassion to others. On September 9th there will be a celebration of life to teach others of his pure energy and love for life. Keep teaching us wherever you are Andrew Holland about pure love, within ourselves and for others. Be at peace, show us how to love again.

Andy, you will be forever missed and I will never forget all the fun times we had as teenagers and young adults. I wish we could have stayed close and seen each other once we got older but life happens and I will forever miss you and love you my little brother.
