He was born on November 13, 1943 to Clifford and Harriett (Hill) Johns in Kittanning, PA.
Andrew served in the United States Army. He retired as a custodian from the Armstrong School District. Andrew was a member of the Plumcreek Church of the Brethren.
In his spare time, Andy had his own deer processing business. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and papa.
Andrew is survived by his wife, Linda (Ramer) Johns; daughters, Tonia (Larry) McCausland and Andrea (Matt) Slee; grandchildren, Larry (Charli) McCausland, Haley (Joe) Dalessio, Sonjia, Noah, and Lindsey Slee; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Jaxon, Niko, and Violet Dalessio and Olly McCausland; sisters, Ruthie (Larry) Troutman and Nancy Himes; best friend, Miles (Mel) Clark; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Sonjia Johns; brothers, Samuel and Rich Johns; and sisters, Norma Clawson and Martha Crissman.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Rural Valley, PA. An additional hour of visitation will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 10 am - 11 am at the Plumcreek Church of the Brethern, Elderton, Pa, with a funeral service to immediately follow with Pastor Eric Longwell, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Harkleroad Cemetery.

So very sorry for your loss! Uncle Andy was truly an AMAZING man! He was so very kind to everyone and the type of person who would do anything for anybody. He had the biggest heart. He will truly be missed by all!
