Obituary of Andrew Michael Nencheck
Andrew Michael Nencheck, 71, of Califon, NJ, passed away on Saturday August 10, 2024, at Overlook Hospital after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on July 18, 1953, in Morristown, NJ. Andrew was the son of the late Andrew Joseph Nencheck and the late Mary (née Doherty) Nencheck.
Andrew was raised in Bernardsville and was a graduate of Bernards High School, Class of 1971. He married the love of his life, the late Linda Marie Nencheck on June 16th, 1984. Together they raised 2 sons, Robert and Michael.
Andrew was a master carpenter, owning his own business, Nencheck Construction, for over 40 years. He enjoyed woodworking, spending time with family and was the definition of acting cool, calm, and collective regardless of the situation.
Andrew is survived by his 2 sons, Robert and Michael: brothers, Tom Nencheck and his wife Vickie, Joe Nencheck and his wife Debbie and his sister Rosemary Nencheck. Also surviving is his corgi, Bentley.
Andrew is predeceased by his beloved wife Linda and his parents Andrew and Mary.
A Celebration of Life, will be held on Saturday, September 14 at 11:00am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 398 County Road 513, Califon NJ 07830. Friends and relatives will be greeted by the family from 10:30 until mass begins at 11:00am. Following the mass, the Nencheck family will be hosting a gathering at the house he built (19 Hoffman Drive Califon, NJ).
