Obituary of Andrew Perrin
Andrew Perrin born August 12, 1970 – December 15, 2025
Drew Perrin was born in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 12, 1970, and was raised with love by his parents, Ginger and Jim Perrin (deceased). He is survived by his wife of 30 years Laura, daughter, Lindsay, sons Jay and Merit along with younger brother, Shawn Perrin.
Andrew graduated from Friends Central High School,
Wynnewood, Pa. in 1988 and later attended Muhlenberg College, where he studied business and Russian. He is a brother of the Zeta Beta Tau.
While his interests were wide-ranging, anyone who knew Andrew knew his true passion was cars-not fixing them, but admiring them, talking about them, and truly appreciating them. He never missed a chance to discuss a great drive or a beautiful vehicle.
Andrew shared a loving marriage with his wife, Laura. She was his constant partner, greatest supporter, and best friend. Their relationship was defined by humor, devotion, and a bond that remained strong through every season of life.
He was the quintessential Sunday driver, happily picking up bagels or heading out for a leisurely ride simply for the joy of it. Family gatherings brought him immense happiness-talking, laughing, eating, and just being together. In recent years, he took up cooking and found real joy in preparing meals that brought everyone to the table.
Often seen around town in shorts, no matter the season, Andrew was a loyal fan of Philadelphia sports teams. He was known for his dry humor, kind heart, and genuine warmth. To his many nieces and nephews he was affectionately known as " Funcle."
Dru/Drew will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by his wife, Laura; his daughter, Lindsay; and his sons, Merit and Jay, as well as by all who knew him. He was a devoted husband and father, a caring family member, and a friend who was always willing to lend a hand. He loved cornhole, time in Ocean City, and-above all-being a dad.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday Dec 20, 2025 at 2:00pm at St. Mary's Abby at Delbarton, 230 Mendham Road, Morris Twp. (Please use east entrance)
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mendham Borough Library or St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center.
