Andrew Phelps Obituary
Andrew Benjamin "Andy" Phelps, 79, of Hope Mills passed away March 5, 2025.
Born in Portsmouth, VA he was the son of the late Daniel Earl and Elsie Stafford Phelps. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Martha Phelps, Darlene Davis, Elsie Mavis Phelps, Mary Frances Felton and Ruth Ann Phelps; brothers, Earl Phelps and David Phelps.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years Virginia (Ginger) Phelps; daughters, Tiffany Abraham & husband Robbie, Rebecca Melberger & husband Jeff and Ann Burrow & husband Charles; grandchildren, Harper Abraham, Emersyn Abraham, Anna Melberger and Jaylon Rogers; great granddaughters, Peyton Ramsey & Jordan Ramsey; sisters, Faye Mann, Estella Harrell & Shelley Smith & husband, Smitty; brother, Bradley Phelps & wife Sarah; his two fur babies, Princess & Baby Girl; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
Mr. Phelps liked Nascar racing, camping and fishing. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
