Andrew Plummer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Royal Funeral Home, Inc. - Jesup on Dec. 8, 2025.
Mr. Andrew Sean Plummer was born on December 15, 1982, at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland Air Force Base, in San Antonio, Texas, to Kenneth S. Plummer and Sadie Pennington. He departed this life on Friday, November 28, 2025.

Andrew was a kindhearted and compassionate soul whose infectious laugh could brighten any room. He attended North Highland High School in Sacramento, California, and Ridgeview High School in Columbia, South Carolina.

Throughout his life, Andrew faced many physical and mental health challenges, yet he continued to find joy in the things he loved. He enjoyed sports-especially basketball, soccer, and baseball. Above all, he cherished his family, with a special affection for his nieces and nephews, who brought him some of his happiest moments. In his healthiest years, Andrew was truly a gentle giant, standing tall at 6'5" and 270 pounds.

A natural people-person with strong leadership qualities, Andrew touched many lives. During his youth, he traveled extensively as he accompanied his father's military assignments. In early adulthood, he worked alongside his father during the summers in their family lawn-care business, where he learned the value of hard work and service.

Andrew was preceded in death by his grandmother, Delores Buchanan, and his nephew, Kaveon Plummer.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his father, Kenneth S. (Linda) Plummer of Columbia, SC; his mother, Sadie Pennington of Jesup, GA; two brothers, Kenneth S. Plummer, Jr., and David Plummer, both of Santa Cruz, CA; one sister, Zina O. (Adrian) Plummer of Gulfport, MS; and one stepsister, Candice Jones of Syracuse, NY. He is also survived by his beloved nieces, TyShani, Makayla, Zena, Macy, and Skye Plummer, Kaniya and Zaniya Williams and his nephews, Kyah and David Plummer, and Solomon Williams, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts. He also leaves behind his two pets, Mechee and Trey, whom he loved dearly.

A viewing will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm (one hour prior to service) until the time of service.

A Memorial service will be held at Royal Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 12, 2025 @ 2:00 pm.

There will be a private Disposition following services.
