"There are times when you can t seem to find your way; the skies are dark and you can't feel night from day. Put a smile on your face and keep holding on, brighter days are coming, and it won't be long. It s alright, it's okay, don t you let your troubles get in your way. Just believe and have faith; know that He is with you every step of the way".

Mr. Andrew "Bud" Pope, III answered the call where he can spend life again on Friday, August 1, 2025. He was the son of the late Andrew Pope, Jr. and Addie Lee Deloatch. Andrew was a native of Hertford County North Carolina and was a graduate of Murfreesboro High School. He later in life decided to advance his career, however he felt he needed a help mate and married his high school sweetheart, Dolores Wood. They moved to Gaithersburg, Maryland and from this union two sons were born Drae and Drew. In addition to his father, he was also predeceased by his Maternal and Paternal Grandparents.

Andrew owned and operated Pope's Flooring and Carpet in Maryland. After moving back to North Carolina, he began to work with his brother in the construction business.

Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, August 9, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Como, North Carolina. A viewing/visitation will be Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the church.
