A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the residence of Andrew 'Andy' Sievers, 41, who passed away on March 11, 2008 in an offshore accident. Andy had a passion for hunting and also enjoyed hiking. He will be remembered as a loving son, husband, father, brother and great friend to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed as he left an indelible impression on others. He was employed by Chet Morrison Contractors, Inc. of Houma, LA Survivors include his wife, Denise Gilbert Sievers of Lafayette; his father, Robert and Kay Sievers of Seattle, WA; his mother, Judy Sievers of Escondido, CA; his daughters, Laci Barber of Lafayette and Tundra Solvey of France; his sons, Brandon Fontenot and Kelly Barber, Jr. both of Lafayette; and his brother, Mark Sievers and wife, Pam of San Diego, CA. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Irene Ellis. Personal condolences may be sent to the Sievers family at www.delhommefuneralhome.com In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Andy Sievers Memorial Fund at any Iberia Bank location. Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, is in charge of all funeral arrangements.
