Andrew Spell-affectionately known to all as "Papa"-passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and devotion. He was a strong, funny, and deeply loving man who devoted his life to caring for those he held dear. Papa was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Frank Spell and Brother Randall. He is survived by his devoted wife, Sharron Spell, with whom he shared many years of laughter, love, and partnership. Together they built a life centered on family and faith. He also leaves behind his beloved sister, Shirley Young, and her husband James. He leaves behind two beloved daughters: Laura Fregia and her husband Ronnie, and Sherri Pugh and her husband James. Papa's pride and joy were his grandchildren: Matthew Maddy and wife Shelly, Brian Maddy, John Maddy and wife Donna, Mark Maddy, Justin Jones, Jared Jones and wife Brittany, and Haley Fregia. His blessings continued with fifteen great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy. Known as the glue that held the family together, Papa had a way of making everyone feel cared for and supported. Whether through his steady strength, quick wit, or the way he always made sure his grandchildren and great-grandchildren had what they needed, his love was constant and unconditional. He could make you laugh when you least expected it, and his presence brought comfort and stability to all who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed, Papa's memory will remain a guiding light-reminding us to take care of one another, find humor in the everyday, and cherish the moments we have together.
