It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dustin Wayne

Spell, a beloved son, brother and friend who was taken from us too soon, in

a tragic motorcycle accident on Sunday 2/22/26, while doing what he loved.

A passionate rider known for his adventurous sprint, he found his greatest

joy in the freedom of the open road, often sharing his passion for riding with

his friends and family. Known for his vibrant caring personality and

generous soul, Dustin was often described as the first person to offer help to

anyone in need. Whether it was riding on scenic back roads or spending

time with his loved ones, he always lived life to the fullest. Dustin once

posted on Facebook, "The brave may not live forever….. but the cautious

may not live at all," a sentiment that reflects how Dustin lived each moment

of his life.

Following his accident Dustin's family honored his final wish, giving the

ultimate gift of life to others. He was taken too soon, but will live on

through the people he helped as an Organ Donor.

He is survived by his loving family, friends, riding community and his Pepsi

family, who will cherish his memory forever.

He is survived by his parents, Lorie (Ree) and Kathy Sweatt-Spell, siblings

Bobby, Zack, Cody, James, David (Lisa) Whitaker, Kim (Jim) Peterson, and

Grandmother Nancy McCarley. He also leaves behind and a vast network of

nieces, nephews and friends who will forever miss his presence.

A gathering to celebrate Dustin's life will be held on March 14th with

visitation from 9-11am, with a memorial ride arriving at 10:30 and the

memorial service starting at 11am at Vinyard Funeral Home 1011 4 th Street,

Floresville, Texas 78114.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Wilson County Adoption

and Rescue Services (Floresville Animal Shelter) 1059 County Road 301,

Floresville Texas or simply take a ride in his honor.
