Andrew Tilden Obituary
Age 72 of Pontiac, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care.
Born March 7, 1950 in Poland, Andrew was a son of Michal and Elzbieta (Née Kolodziejczyk) Tuzinkiewicz.
He attended schooling in Poland and was married to Dorota Kolodziejczyk on November 30, 1991 in Chicago, IL.
Andrew was a licensed Medical Doctor. He previously practiced medicine for a number of years at Stateville Correctional System and was named the Medical Director for the Pontiac Prison System in January, 2011, which continued up until the time of his passing.
In his free time, he thoroughly enjoyed watching old classic movies and musicals, investing and collecting and selling antiques.
Survivors include his loving spouse; Dorota Tilden; devoted children, Monika Tilden and Krzysztof A. Tilden; siblings, John (Bozena) Tuzinkiewicz and Theresa (Grzegorz) Tuzinkiewicz; sister-in-law, Malgorzata (Jurgen) Trzeciakowska and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, Michal and Elzbieta Tuzinkiewicz and sister-in-law, Anna Wojtasik.
Private funeral services for Dr. Andrew H. Tilden will be held and he will be laid to rest in Poland.

I only knew Dr. Tilden from working at Pontiac Correctional Center. He was a great guy and always fun to watch him do his job, he had a great sense of humor while doing it.

Sending my condolences to Dr Tilden's family. I enjoyed working with Dr Tilden at Pontiac Correctional Center. He had a witty sense of humor and was one of my favorite doctors to work with. No matter what time of the day, he would put his patients first and often times would come in after hours to assist. He will be missed.
