Andy Royce Spiva, age 93, of Clinton, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Methodist Medical Center. Andy was born on March 22, 1932, in Union County, Georgia, to the late Gardner and Ethel Spiva. For many years, Andy worked as a machinist in Anderson County. He loved to travel, was an old-car enthusiast, and enjoyed listening to country music. Andy was a member of the Sinking Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery and the AACA Car Club. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Andy was preceded in death by his parents, Gardner and Ethel Spiva; his first wife, Ruth Spiva; his brother, Dewey Spiva; and his sisters, Geraldine Elmore and Vivian Dillard.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Puett Spiva of Clinton; his sons, Sid Spiva and wife Judy of Clinton, Larry Spiva and wife Carrie of Lake City, and Douglas Spiva. Andy leaves behind his grandchildren: Travis Spiva and wife Suzanne, Brett Spiva and wife Erica, Tiffany Spiva, Melinda Ferrell and husband Will, and Maria Taylor and husband Lee Jon. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Holley Gamble Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel, with Rev. Brandon Berg and Sid Spiva officiating. Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Oak Ridge Memorial Park, where full military honors will be rendered at the graveside by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
