Lawrence (Larry) Helveston, 74, of Andersonville, passed away peacefully at his home on February 11th 2026.
There will be a celebration of life on Sunday, February 15th at Second Baptist Church 777 Public Safety Lane Clinton, TN 37716. The receiving of friends and family will be from 2-4 pm with a short service to follow. Pastor Mike Thompson to officiate and arrangements are by Mott-McKamey Funeral Home.
Larry was born in Tampa, Florida to Arthur and Gwen Helveston on March 3, 1951. He went to Clinton High School in Clinton, TN. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1981 and practiced in Clinton and Powell areas for more than 30 years. He married Teresa (TC) Helveston on April 5, 2003 in Townsend, TN. He was a member of Second Baptist Church.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Teresa, children Amy (Dino) Bonaventura, Bryan (April) Helveston, Lindsey (Eric) Violet, and Jessica (Blake) Loy, siblings Steven (Diane) Helveston, Keith Helveston, Valerie (Lynn) Bracey, Mark (Colene) Helveston, grandchildren Abby(Corey) Hall, Katie (Ben) Jones, Miranda (Chris) Smith, Geoffrey (Katherine) Helveston, Caleb, Annabelle, Susanna, Charlotte, Emery, Maysen, Aubrey, Ciara, Nora, as well as several great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, and cousins. A special recognition to friends of the family ex-wife Leah(Jackie) Phillips, Kristen Hare, and Pat and Willard Wright.
The family of Larry and Teresa wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all the staff at Amedisys and Second Baptist Church for all their prayers, care, and support. In lieu of flowers, please consider giving to the missions fund at Second Baptist Church.
